Stephanie believes that no matter what stage of life you are in, it is important to always meet yourself where you are and not worry about trying to get back to where you were in the past. ‘Focus on being the best version of yourself now, ’ says Stephanie. It’s this idea of embracing the new and the now that can really change the way you feel about yourself.

She says, ‘I encourage them to focus on becoming stronger so they can do the things they want and need to do each day with ease and confidence.’ What could be more empowering than that?

Samantha Warren
Helping Women Take Up Space & Own Their Strength
📍 Instagram: @samanthademockerfit | @strongestyousdf
🌐 Website: www.strongestyousdf.com

Samantha has always loved helping and encouraging others. As far back as she can remember, she’s always been active as an athlete or coach – so it came naturally for her to get into women’s health coaching.
While pursuing certifications and working in the field, Samantha got her MS in Exercise Science, Fitness & Health Promotion. During this time, while working with clients in person, she dabbled in the online space before making the leap to full-time online coaching. And the thing she loves about it the most? ‘It’s ever-evolving and so much fun, ’ she tells us.
‘More specifically, women are often written off as not being able to do what men do, aren’t taken seriously by their doctors, or are confused by the mixed information online, she goes on to explain. ‘They deserve to know what they’re capable of, how to advocate for themselves, take up space, and realize their strength.’
Samantha’s Best Advice for Women at Different Life Stages
If Samantha could give you her number one piece of advice, it would be to ‘Get. The. Sleep.’ as she puts it! She knows just how important the right amount of sleep is for you to be able to show up how and where you want to in life – no matter the life stage!
Samantha on Female Strength Training Myths
Beyond common concerns about hormonal health and metabolism, Samantha frequently challenges the misconception that women must follow specific set and rep formulas. She encourages women to focus on progressive strength training, lifting what they’re capable of over time rather than feeling confined to traditional 3×12-20 rep schemes.
For Samantha, strength training isn’t about “men’s” or “women’s” lifts—it’s about helping each woman discover her own capabilities and build strength in a way that works best for her body and goals.
How Samantha Supports Women Build Physical and Mental Strength
When it comes to strength training for women, Samantha’s focus is on helping women feel stronger physically and mentally by giving them the tools, support, and guidance they need to succeed. She focuses intently on guiding training, movement, nutrition, and overall lifestyle to help her clients grow in both strength and confidence.
Samantha sees her role as being their biggest fan, cheerleader, and supporter – but she will also be the first one to call them on excuses and give them the tough love they need when appropriate!
And why is she so passionate about fitness for women? In her own words – ‘Women are the past, present, and future. We matter.’

Shayla’s journey into coaching started over 12 years ago, but she very quickly started to see her passion for women’s health deepen as she began to focus on hormonal health. Now, her focus is working with clients to help them navigate hormonal shifts, busy schedules, and the pressures of doing it all.
As a mom, wife, and coach, Shayla understands firsthand how important it is to build a sustainable approach to fitness and nutrition – ‘one that honors a woman’s body and lifestyle, she tells us.
Her mission is simple – ‘to help women feel strong, confident, and empowered in every stage of life through sustainable habits, strength training, and a supportive coaching approach.’
Shayla’s Top Advice to Women in Different Seasons of Life
Shayla is all about meeting women where they are. ‘Whether she’s postpartum, navigating perimenopause, or balancing a demanding career, the approach should adapt to her body’s needs, not the other way around,’ she says.
Her biggest piece of advice? ‘Prioritize strength training, nourish your body with intention, and embrace flexibility in your routine. Women’s bodies evolve, and our fitness and nutrition should evolve with them!’
What Shayla Wants You to Know About This Common Women’s Health Myth
If there’s one thing that Shayla hears a lot, it’s that lifting weights will make women bulky.’
It’s her mission to show women that strength training is one of the best things they can do for their metabolism, bone health, and overall confidence. ‘It helps build a lean, strong physique, supports longevity, and improves hormonal balance—without making you look like a bodybuilder!’ she shares.
Shayla on Building Strength for Women—Physically & Mentally
When it comes to women’s health coaching, Shayla takes a whole-health approach that focuses on mindset, movement, and nutrition.
Physically, she creates progressive strength training programs that fit into real life. Mentally, she helps her clients reframe their mindset around fitness—shifting from “I have to” to “I get to.”

Kristen Sexton
Strength Through Movement, Fuel, & Self-Love
📍 Instagram: @elevatelifeandfitness
🌐 Website: www.elevatelifeandfitness.com

Kristen has always been passionate about fitness, which led her to pursue a degree in exercise science. As a woman who personally struggled with body image and extreme diets, she is dedicated to helping other women overcome similar challenges by teaching them how to properly fuel their bodies and, most importantly, love themselves.
After earning her Master’s degree, Kristen began teaching wellness at a local college. ‘When my husband and I were expecting our first child, I sought to maintain optimal health throughout my pregnancy, leading me to obtain my certification in prenatal and postnatal corrective exercise,’ she goes on to explain. ‘I find great fulfillment in supporting women at every stage of life.’
Kristen’s Top Advice for Women in Different Stages of Life
‘My primary advice for coaching women at various life stages is to prioritize staying active and nourishing your body’, Kristen shares.
If she could share one key thing with you, it’s to listen to your body’s needs and aim to incorporate movement into your daily routine. This could be a 20-minute walk supplemented by 10 minutes of bodyweight exercises- whatever works for you.
A common issue she observes is women undereating due to societal norms that demonize carbs and promote eating less. ‘In reality, our bodies require proper fuel to function optimally, and insufficient intake can lead to fat storage,’ Kristen tells us.
This is why she likes her clients to focus on consuming nutritious meals that encompass all essential macronutrients, including carbohydrates, rather than restricting any food groups.
Debunking a Common Women’s Health Myth
A female strength training myth she wants to debunk? The fear that weight lifting will result in a bulky physique.
‘Many women believe that engaging in weight training, particularly for the upper body, will lead to a masculine and overly muscular appearance, but this is simply not true,’ she explains. ‘Weight training is crucial for women, as it allows us to maintain and even increase bone density as we age.’
Kristen wants her clients to know that weight training helps build muscle mass to provide better support for our joints. One of her favorite benefits of strength training for women is the continued calorie burning, even up to 48 hours after completing a weightlifting session, making it a highly effective strategy for overall health!
Kristen’s Approach to Building Physical and Mental Strength for Women
With her focus on fitness for women, Kristen finds great joy in showcasing progress by documenting transformations through photos and measurements, allowing her clients to see their physical strength improve over time.
‘Utilizing the app to track the weight lifted during sessions and putting it into perspective with relatable visual comparisons, such as lifting the weight of a car, can be incredibly empowering and motivating,’ Kristen explains.
In addition to physical gains, she also places a strong emphasis on mental well-being. ‘I prioritize understanding the individual needs and preferences of each client,’ Kristen shares. ‘Whether it involves journaling, reading, self-care practices, or any other activities that contribute positively to their mental health.’
