All on from day one at Everfit

There I am. Standing at a bonfire on a beach somewhere in Vietnam, watching Long and Jon speak enigmatically about Everfit with the kind of genuine conviction, you would gladly drink any Kool-Aid they handed you.

Then, in the most dramatic way possible, they are setting a six-foot EVERFIT sign on fire while fireworks go off. I’m surrounded by a group of people I’d met four days ago. Halfway across the world. Barely over the jet lag. And I’m thinking, it’s giving A24. This is either the best decision I’ve ever made or I’m about to be sacrificed to some ancient productivity gods for the company’s continued success.

Turns out there was no A24 plotline twist. Just genuinely amazing people, a company worth believing in, and a full commitment to the All On Everfit brand.

I’ve spent my career in entertainment marketing, building and executing the infrastructure behind them. The systems, the workflows, the operational layer that lets creative excellence do its thing without friction getting in the way. Optimizing, improving, streamlining. I am constantly looking for gaps to close and ways to improve the process.

This is sort of my mental model across the board. It runs in parallel with the way I’ve been engaged with Health and Wellness for the past 10 years. Deep diving into Podcasts, coaches, my own fitness journey, consuming everything I could.

Over New Year’s I finally stopped treating it like a hobby. I signed up for my NASM CPT certification. I started training myself and my sisters. I went looking for the right coaching platform and landed on Everfit. I’d used it as a client before, so I knew exactly what a good client experience felt like — and I wanted to be able to build that on the coaching side.

What impressed me is that Everfit thought of everything. Every building block a coach needs to tailor and customize their training is there. It’s flexible, it’s nimble, and for someone obsessed with tools and processes that work for people and not the other way around, it was a perfect fit.

Around the same time I started watching Everfit’s job board. Within two months I found this role. It felt like kismet, the career shift and passion inflection I’d been building toward. I applied. I got it.

And then I booked a flight to Vietnam. My first day of work was the longest commute of my life. 20 hours from LA to Vietnam, flying to a country I’d never been to, to meet people I’d only seen in a couple of interviews. Everyone kept asking if I was nervous. Honestly? A little, but also deeply excited into committing ALL ON to this opportunity.

Growth happens when we push ourselves outside our norms. Just like systems, why settle for good enough when we can imagine the life we want and design the pathways to get us there optimally?

Seeing the company from the inside, I’m amazed by how much gets done with so much creativity and determination and brilliance of a small but mighty group. I went from a user who trusted it to someone who gets to help build what comes next. The systems. The workflows. The operational layer that lets the rest of it scale and I’m very excited to be part of that journey.
