The human is in the core.” That’s what Long Nguyen said to me during my interview when I asked about Everfit’s long-term goals around AI. At a time when AI is destroying industries in the name of progress, leaving many jobless, I felt I could take a breath. Something about Long taking a moment to center the human felt comforting in this current world climate. Everfit is building a new industry – helping personal trainers, nutritionists, and other wellness professionals create successful businesses. Helping them do what they do best, at scale, supercharged by AI capabilities. I knew at that moment, I could get behind Everfit.
I joined Everfit to build the next-gen payments system that will power exponential growth for our wellness professionals. As a payments product leader at Recurly, a B2B subscription billing platform, and later at Patreon, a global subscription-based membership platform, I learned how to balance product flexibility, needed to meet the needs of our diverse wellness professional businesses, with product simplicity, needed to help our customers spend less time on payments and more time coaching. Like Everfit’s training platform, Everfit Payment is focused on human potential. I’ve started repeating a new phrase, “let the coaches coach!” This phrase encompasses our four Everfit Payment product pillars: seamless payments, revenue growth, business capital, and trust and safety.
